Rusnak Porsche reveal the 2017 Porsche 911 at Ronald Reagan Library

On Saturday, March 19, 2016, Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche and Rusnak/Westlake Porsche revealed the all-new 2017 Porsche 911 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library I the Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. In its 52- year existence, many have experienced the 911 Carrera; but never like this. The completely redesigned rear intake grille and all new infotainment system; including Apple CarPlay was demonstrated to the excited crowd of over 700 guests. Three dimensional tail lamps and performance upgrades across the board, Porsche 911 has emerged victorious, once again!

The event continued with a truly unforgettable visit in Air Force One. Displayed in a 90,000 square-foot hanger, the Boeing 707 was utilized during Ronald Reagan’s administration. The aircraft, SAM 27000, was also used by six other presidents in its active service life from 1973 until 2001, including Richard Nixon during his second term, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

“Rusnak’s philosophy is to bring awareness to non-profit organizations to our community”, stated Liz Rusnak Arizmendi, Vice President Public Relations Rusnak Auto Group. “Rusnak Porsche Pasadena and Westlake is pleased to present a check to Allisyn Cashden, Co-Chair President of Centennial Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles”, she continued. Rusnak Porsche General Managers, Keith Goldberg, Rusnak/Westlake and Mark Umutyan, Rusnak/Pasadena, handed the oversize $5,000.00 check to Cashden. “It is a great feeling to be able to contribute to an organization which focuses on the better of children”, said Umutyan. Goldberg chimed, “Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is the oldest, newest, biggest, brightest, best place for kids and their focus is creating hope and building healthier futures for children”. The Centennial Guild raises funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles which is a non-profit hospital that cares for more than 107,000 infants, children and young adults each year, with physician expertise in over 100 pediatric specialties and subspecialties. Singer/Song Writer Annie Bosko, emotionally sang “Fighter” to the crowd and a dry eye wasn’t missed in the pavilion. Emmy Award-Winning KTLA Anchor and Reporter, Wendy Burch emceed the Live Auction for Centennial Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Celebrity Chef, Kirk Memoli, of Command Performance, served shrimp tacos with black beans, avocado crème and micro cilantro , roasted tomato soup and grilled cheese shots with black truffle gouda and caramelized onion, braised boneless beef shortrib sandwich on petite fresh baked rolls with Zinfandel wine sauce, arugula and a rosemary horseradish crème fraiche and much more! An open bar served specialty drinks, cocktails and wine.  Celebrity DJ, Herrick Serna, also known as “Happen,” rocked the pavilion. Later, recording artist, Nina Lara’s Band, jazzed the building until the evening’s end.   The guests in attendance had quite an evening! 2017 Porsche 911-“Ever Ahead”!
